'Then comes a band that I have really loved for a long time: Tyrannosaurus Rex. Two beautiful guys, as beautiful as rural gods who have created their own unique style (which probably won’t stay unique long, as Roger Chapman and even Mungo Jerry are already imitating Marc Bolan’s voice).
Marc has an extraordinary way of quivering his voice, and his compositions are lovely. Remember ‘By the Light of a Magical Moon’ and ‘Elemental Child’ from the ‘A Beard of Stars’ album?
A band that merits larger success and was indeed very welcome to the Rotterdam audience.
